Payment methods. For your convenience, DVDs may be purchased with major credit cards through Pay Pal on this website. Money orders will also be accepted by mail. Please do not send cash. Cheques are only accepted for institutional and bulk DVD purchases. Money orders and cheques are held for 10 days by our bank to clear, so please adjust the expected receipt date of your DVD accordingly.

Screening your Escape from Suburbia DVD. We want to accommodate everyone who wants to see our film but in the real world we also must make a living to carry on as filmmakers. If you want to share Escape from Suburbia with your social justice, environmental or peak oil meet up group of 35 people or less privately (neither advertised nor open to the public or in a public space), dim the lights and enjoy. All of these scenarios must be free for participants. Private, not public, screenings like these are allowed. If, however, you’d like to: screen Escape from Suburbia at your local eco fair, community group, public event, in a public venue, advertise a screening for which tickets or donation is charged or free, you must legally have our permission and pay a screening fee. Screening fees allow you exclusivity and ensure that no free or competitive screenings take place before yours. We are understanding of non-profit group financial constraints and will adjust the screening fee accordingly. Since the film will be playing in film festivals and at venues purchased by screening sponsors in several regions, unlicensed screenings cannot be permitted as they compromise legitimate agreements in force.
Free DVD to the first person who alerts us to illegal screenings. If you think you have attended an illegal public or institutional screening of Escape from Suburbia, let us know about it. Chances are, if the event is NOT listed on this website, it’s most likely an illegal screening. We’ll verify your information and if you’re the first person to contact us, we’ll send you a free DVD for your helping us control illegal presentations of our film.
